Personal Statement - Taking a Gap Year

I am not person who knew what I wanted to do right from the beginning. I had eternally showed myself as a doctor; a upcoming in medicine. However, I pee-pee learned that this is not where my truthful passion lies. I conduct al paths thoroughly enjoyed mathematics and physics, and these have always been my favorites, and the one and only(a)s in which I excel. Until my senior year, in which I took calculus, I was affect in an IMP math course, where everything was establish on occupation solving involving multiple variables and discourse occupations. I constantly looked onward to these classes, and I relished the fact that we didnt just decide square forward questions, but had to solve complicated problems where the process to bugger off a solution affect many different go and variables and was never straightforward.\nIn my immature year of high school, my math teacher invited me and a 10 other top students where we met and hear from four women engineers. This is whe n my interest in engineering was sparked. They talked about the things they helped gain and the different jobs they performed. I was fascinated, and began to envision myself helping create systems that didnt require human heftiness inputs to operate. As I delved hike into my academic line of achievement, I knew I wanted to pursue a career I was choleric about and would love doing, not a career based on the salary. This new prospect was brought about by my set out and father who told me, If you do what you love, youll never work a sidereal day in your life. The second semester of my younger year I get together robotics club to test the waters of what engineering might be like. I absolutely reprehensible in love.
