Besides, very few rapist are everincarcerated.From very early ages, men and women are learned to accept differentroles. Women are raised to be passive and men are raised to be aggressive. Weare conditioned to accept sealed attitudes, values and behaviors. Ourconditioning is continuously and relentlessly encour aged and reinforced by thepopular media, cultural attitudes and the educational system. The media is amajor contributor to gender-based attitudes and values. The media provides womenwith a complete list of behaviors that precipitate rape. Social training aboutwhat is proper, as well as what is powerful and macho, teaches women to bevictims and men to be aggressors.The juicy incidence of rape in this country is a result of the powerimbalance between men and women.
